Celebrating The World Vegan Month

Vegans are the world’s modern-day heroes and World Vegan Month is made to celebrate them. This November, plant-based eaters from across the globe come together to celebrate their cruelty-free lifestyle. Members of the community encourage the vegan-curios to adopt veganism by sharing their recipes and lifestyle tips.

There are different ways to embrace the vegan lifestyle, but for starters, it is best to change your current diet with a plant-based diet. Turning your back away from dairy, eggs, fish, and honey, as well as products like leather and fur, can also be done slowly to achieve this kind of lifestyle.


The History of World Vegan Month

The Vegan Society in the United Kingdom was found in November 1944. 50 years after, World Vegan Month was established in the year 1994 with the World Vegan Day celebrated every 1st of November. The day was selected the same day with Day of the Dead to honor the animals who died in supporting human life.

People choose to mark World Vegan Month in an array of different ways.

Nowadays, you can even have substitutes for sausage, bacon, honey, butter, and cheese that are actually made from plants and beans.
