It’s finally that time of year again — where ghosts, ghouls, vampires, witches, and other monstrous and hideous beasts come out to play, yes, it’s finally Halloween! It’s now the perfect time to grab some of that delicious buttered popcorn, huddle with all your friends, and get prepared to scream your heads off at some of the scariest movies of all time.
It may be difficult to pick any Halloween Graham and’ movies (because all of them are good and scary, duh!), but don’t worry, we got you covered! Whether you’re looking for the ultimate slasher film, something dark and twisted, or animated scary ones, there are plenty of picks here for any kind of Halloween and horror lover. These movies will surely leave you and your friends scared throughout the entire night.
1. Hereditary
After a shocking death, the family suddenly discovers strange and mysterious things that happen to them. While trying to figure out the cause, they soon find out that their family had a lot more secrets hidden than they originally thought.
2. Truth or Dare
A group of friends has their vacation in Mexico turned upside down when they end up involved in a supernatural version of Truth or Dare. After a few turns, the game turns deadly and they must find a way to survive against the odds and stop it before they all end up dead.
3. Would You Rather (2012)
This film takes the classic sleepover game and turns it into a nightmare. Iris and seven other people become trapped in a creepy mansion. There, a lunatic forces them to play a sadistic game for a large sum of money, but the game gets more and more twisted as the night goes on.
4. ParaNorman (2012)
Norman's ability to talk to the dead has made him more comfortable with ghosts than with the living. This, however, is pushed to the limit when a witch's curse takes over Norman's town, forcing him to use his talents to take down hoards of zombies and put an end to the curse.
5. Paranormal Activity (2009)
One of the biggest sleeper hits in horror, Paranormal Activity follows a young couple Katie and Micah in their own home. Katie opens up to Micah about a demonic presence that has haunted her ever since she was a young girl. Micah decides to record the couple at night to figure out what's wrong. As the nights go by, the evil presence gets worse and Katie and Micah must try to survive and get rid of the presence that seems to want more than just to haunt them.
6. Ma
A group of kids thinks they found the perfect spot when an older woman allows them to use her basement for parties, but things start to change when they notice her mysterious behavior.
7. The Strangers: Prey at Night
A family vacation to see loved ones turns awry when a group of masked murderers suddenly appear. When they realize that they are the targets, they try to escape the trailer park they are currently in and get back home safe and sound.
8. I Know What You Did Last Summer
A year after four teens were involved in a gruesome accident, a shrouded figure with a hook begins stalking them.
9. Final Destination
Devon Sawa melted your heart as the human version of Casper, and years later went on to cheat death in the first Final Destination. After having a vision of a plane crash, a teen and several of his classmates get off the aircraft and survive the impending explosion. Now, death is out to get them in any way possible.
10. Zombieland (2009)
In the near future, mad cow disease mutates into mad human disease and causes everyone affected to turn into zombies. Hoping to travel home with the possibility of reuniting with his parents, Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) travels the country along with Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson). Along the way, they meet up with Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) who throw a wrench in their plans as they try to survive in this new world they call Zombieland.
